Psychiko Clinic
The Psychiko Clinic joined the Athens Medical Group in October 1997 in an effort to secure, in a densely populated area in the heart of Athens, direct access to high standard medical services and hospital care such as those that the Group guarantees.
With modern facilities, state-of-the-art medical equipment, experienced, specialised and highly trained scientific, hospital and administrative staff and a fully reorganised hospital care system, the Athens Medical Group has created a model hospital unit that provides quality health services to the residents of the broader area.
The Clinic’s physicians are highly reputable scientists, as testified by their residencies in internationally recognised centres in Greece and abroad, as well by their academic achievements. They cover all medical specialisations and are available on a 24-hour basis.
Having set the provision of high-quality services as its main objective, the Psychiko Clinic certified the neurology department of its Intensive Care Unit according to the ISO 9001:2000 in 2004.
The Psychiko Clinic has 119 beds, 11 fully equipped operating rooms and a 16-bed, multifunctional Intensive Care Unit, an experienced, and a highly trained medical staff ready to undertake even the most difficult cases, securing high-quality hospital care for its patients. The Clinic has a full range of state-of-the-art laboratory and diagnostic equipment, suitable for carrying out the most specialized examinations. With its fully equipped departments, the Clinic guarantees complete medical support as concerns patient diagnoses and treatments.

INSURANCE COMPANIES AND INSURANCE FUNDS
For the direct coverage of incidents, the Athens Medical Group cooperates with all the private insurance companies, as well as well with the EOPPY (the National Organisation for Healthcare Provision of Greece), the Bank of Greece and the TYPET (Mutual Health Fund of National Bank of Greece Personnel).
